These Hydraulic brake calipers are made of high quality Galvanised Steel for corrosion resistance making them ideal for marine trailers. Designed to be a replacement for a CH100G Calliper. Hydraulic brake systems are most common on boat Trailers that are rated above 2000Kg due to their ability to keep working when exposed to water. When your trailer is rated above 2000Kg in a dual Axle setup you will need to have hydraulic brakes installed on both Axles. Hydraulic Calipers are often preferred when using a dual axle system due to the simplicity connecting multiple calipers with hydraulic brake lines.
Trailers with loaded weights exceeding 2000kg require independent control and breakaway facility, causing the brakes to automatically be activated should the towing vehicle and the trailer become disconnected in transit.

Please Note:
This caliper has no thread in its mounting holes
This Caliper is slightly different from the CH100G as its Mounting Holes are placed at a different height.
