This Circuit Board was designed by Hydrastar to be a cost effective way to repair your Hydrastar Brake actuator when it is exposed to water, you can easily identify water damage to your circuit board when you see burns or corrosion on it. Hydrastar Brake Actuators are designed to be weatherproof, however they are not entirely waterproof, so exposure to submersible levels of water or high water pressure can damage their electronics.
This circuit board is designed to control the operation of your Hydrastar brake actuator by receiving signals from the brake controller and converting them in to the appropriate commands for the actuator. It is an essential component to ensure your braking system is working correctly, this board is also designed to be a direct replacement of the larger XL Hydrastar Circuit board that has been discontinued. When Doing DIY Installation
Record or draw out locations of terminals
Remove Spade Terminals
Remove Old Circuit board from its housing
Connect Wires on to New Circuit Board and reinsert them in to housing
Make Sure Gaskets are clean before applying sealer and resealing the housing to the body
