Tandem Roller Rocker Spring - Configuration options:
When installing tandem roller rocker springs it is important to note that the Offset of the centre bolt on each spring influences the orientation and placement of the trailers Axles. In most cases the centre bolt of each spring will face inwards towards the centre rocker arm. This means your trailers axles will sit closer together under the bed of your trailer and is the most common way to build a tandem axle trailer. There are some cases however, where people prefer to take apart the Roller Rocker Springs, and reassemble them so the Offset Bolt is facing the opposite direction - further away from the centre rocker arm. The result of this is that your axles can be installed further apart from one another and is most common in cases where you are installing 16'' inch wheels to ensure they can fit without obstruction or interference.
